This movie is about a young woman who lost her job and thought she lost her boyfriend, too. She decided to go back home to her family, only to find out that they were dead. Her father and younger sister were killed in a traffic accident and her mother died in the same week of natural causes. In despair and sorrow, she tried to reach out to her boyfriend in Bangkok, but to no avail. The only way to get rid of her broken heart was to kill herself, so she could be with her family.

Park Yoohwan discusses his relationship with older brother, JYJ’s Yoochun

On February 8th, JYJ Yoochun’s younger brother, Park Yoohwan, attended the press conference for his debut drama, MBC’s “Shiny Shiny Shining“, and revealed his thoughts on entering the entertainment industry alongside his brother.
Park will be playing the role of a bastard child named ‘Lee Seo Woo’ who comes to live with his half-brother, the owner of an influential publishing company.
When asked how he felt about being compared to his older brother, Yoohwan replied, “I don’t think it’s a bad thing to be compared to my brother.  I actually think it’s positive. It’s an honor to be compared to someone who has already reached the top.”
He also revealed that Yoochun could be scary at times, especially when Yoohwan makes a mistake with Korean customs and culture. “Because I lived abroad for so long, I don’t know a lot of Korean etiquette.  He gives me a lot of advice regarding that.  He wants me to grow on my own, so I’ll be working hard in order to become a dongseng who’s of some help to him.”
Park Yoohwan’s debut drama will begin airing at 8:40 PM KST on February 12th

Kim Jae-won and Hwang Jeong-eum play couple in "Can You Hear My Heart"

Actor Kim Jae-won chose MBC TV weekend drama "Can You Hear My Heart" as his first project since his discharge from the army. He will be playing a couple with actress Hwang Jeong-eum.
Kim Jae-won's company said he was chosen to be the lead male character in the drama "Can You Hear My Heart". He would be returning to the screens after 5 years of absence since his last drama KBS 2TV "Hwangjin-i" in 2006. Hwang Jeong-eum was chosen before him to be the lead female role.
"Can You Hear My Heart" is about a man and a woman's love story and how they overcome the difficulty of acquired deafness and Kim Jae-won will play the role of a neat and classy male.
Kim Jae-won is Cha Dong-joo, a conglomerate man who becomes deaf after an accident. As much as he lost 5 kg for this part, he is showing a whole new passion towards this role.
Meanwhile, "Can You Hear My Heart" will come this April as a follow up to 'Flame of Desire".

In 2011, those who have the talents and visuals will be taking over the screens enough to be said that Chungmuro is the arena of competition for rookies.
First of all, there are two rookies who stand head and shoulders above others from the start of the year. They are Kang Ha-neul from the movie "Battlefield Heroes" and "Jang Ki-beom from the movie "GLove". Kang Ha-neul was chosen by director Lee Joon-ik and perfectly played out Nam-san; the role of the third son to Yeon Gae So Moon and is being called the second Lee Joon-ki.
Jang Ki-beom, who plays a deaf pitcher in the movie "GLove", draws attention with his more than 180 cm height and his sculpture like features. His fierce looking eyes also emphasize his existence.
Yoo Ah-in, Park Min-yeong and Song Joong-ki from the drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" are also heading for the screens. Park Min-yeong is in the middle of filming the movie "Cat". This is her first screen project and her first at a horror queen role. Her challenge in becoming a horror queen is rising interest in Chungmuro.
Yoo Ah-in has been chosen for the movie "Wan Deugi" based on a best selling novel. It is about Wan Deugi, who is from a poor family and doesn't have good grades but confident in fighting anyone. She will be acting alongside of Kim Yoon-seok.
Song Joong-ki is going to play lead role along with Han Ye-seul in the movie "So I Was Born". This movie is about a real misery girl and a guy with no job and their project to collect 200 million won and is expected to be released in the later half of the year.
Joo Won from the drama "Bread, Love and Dream" is also another rising star. He has been cast as lead role along with Eom Tae-woong in "Special Crimes Investigation Unit". Eom Tae-woong plays the detective Kim Seong-beom and Joo Won is his partner Ho Ryong. Young, ambitious and incredibly smart Ho Ryong was even educated by the FBI and sets out to solve crimes.
Kang Byeol who acted with Ji Seong in the drama "Kim Soo Ro" is playing girlfriend to Yoo Ah-in in the movie "Wan Deugi" and is also going over a horror flick.
2011 screens are going to be the arena of competition for Jang Ki-beom, Kang Ha-neul, Joo Won, Yoo Ah-in, Park Min-yeong, Song Joong-gi, Kang Byeol and other rookies. Who among them will stand above all is what arouses curiosity.

SNSD signs on as the new models for Christian Dior cosmetics?


Rumors have been swirling about SNSD being picked up by Christian Dior to become their new campaign models.
According to multiple shareholders in the cosmetics industry, SNSD has agreed to endorse the label, and they’ve already filmed a commercial.
Since Taeyeon, Yoona, and Seohyun are already signed to different cosmetic brands, it’ll be the other six ladies (Tiffany, Jessica, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung) who will be seen in the CF.
Although everyone’s still waiting for an official statement from either SM Entertainment or the brand, the speculation is causing a lot of excitement, as its unconventional for the cosmetic branch of Christian Dior to sign a Korean star as their model.

Kim Hyun-joong of ss501 has finally started on his solo album after a long await of his solo debut.
According to Kim Hyun-joong, this coming May, he will officially act as a solo singer. He focused on his acting last year in the drama "Playful Kiss". This will be the first time he will show himself as a solo singer besides his part in the group ss501.
According to his company Key East Entertainment, he is currently choosing out the most significant songs out of about a 100 of them. He has also chosen to release an official album instead of the relatively risky digital or mini album. Kim Hyun-joong's idea of his solo album is very sincere.
A spokesperson explained he is finishing up the last of his album and as much as this is the first time as a solo singer, he will show off ballads, dance and many different songs.
Kim Hyeon-joons solo act will be the forth of the members from the group ss501, after Park Jung-min with "Not Alone", Heo Yeong-saeng who debuts solo this end of the month, and Kim Hyung-joon who signed up with Japanese Avex and will debut this comong march.
So besides Kim Gyoo-jong, who will be stepping forward as an actor, all the members from ss501 will perform as solo singers.

Only having feelings for Ko Hye-mi (Suzy), Song Sam-dong (Kim Soo-hyeon-I) turns into a totally different person in the episode on the 7th. He cuts his hair and returns as a tougher man. In the Japan, Nagoya school trip, Sam-dong (Kim Soo-hyeon-I) learns passion from the Japanese B-Boy team and decides to become the best star after seeing Hye-mi and Jin-gook's (Taecyeon) date. He is finally ready to soften the edges and re-appear as a new star.

Girls' Generation's Spartan Diet Revealed

Top manufactured girl group Girls' Generation adhere to a Spartan dietary regime of 1,500 kcal a day, their gym instructor has revealed.

Speaking on a SBS TV program on Feb. 3, Kim Ji-hoon said they are allowed seasonal vegetables, five pieces of broccoli, 100 g of grilled chicken breast, and 150 g of brown rice.

"When they have concerts or are due to make important TV appearances, the members have to follow this dietary regime, but otherwise they love snacks and eat well," he added.

BoA Prepares for Her Hollywood Debut

Korean singer BoA has been cast in her first leading role in a Hollywood film, along with Derek Hough, who appeared in a popular TV show "Dancing with the Stars" in the U.S.

The dance movie, to be directed by Duane Adler, writer of the film "Step Up," will move beyond the stereotypical plot of a dance battle and include various types of dance such as tap, hip hop and swing, with a story revolving around the love affair of the main characters.

It will be co-produced by CJ Entertainment, SM Entertainment, and Hollywood's Robert Cort, who has produced a number of hit films including "Save the Last Dance."

Filming is scheduled to start in the spring and will take place in Toronto and New York.

UNIQLO x BIG BANG fashion collaboration in Japan

It was previously announced that South Korean group Big Bang will resume activities in Japan in April, and their activities include a new single, a tour, and a collaboration with fashion brand UNIQLO.
The collaboration between the two will involve tour goods for their upcoming concerts.  They have created eight shirts and four hoodies, all starting at ¥1,500 ($18.36 USD).
All merchandise will be sold at all UNIQLO locations, as well as online, starting on February 5th at 9 AM.
